Contracts is a module improving your engagement with freelancers and contract management.
Contracts aim to offer a comprehensive and reliable system, addressing all critical aspects of freelancer engagement across many functions - business, legal, compliance etc.

There are four primary scenarios you can use Contracts for
1. NDA,ICA,MSA
2. Resource & Talent Request
3. Statement of Work (SOW)
4. Long-term Engagement

1. Create a Contract Template
Contract Templates are Reusable. You can easily create contracts for different scenarios once you set-up the templates first.
- Go to Contracts and then Contract Templates
- Choose between Fixed Rate and General Framework.
- For this example, choose Fixed Rate.
1.1 Select Contract Type
- Fixed Rate Contracts:
- Ideal for long-term projects with fixed payments (e.g., weekly, monthly).
- Features automated invoice scheduling and payroll calculations.
- Examples: Retainer agreements and full-time freelancer engagements.
- General Framework Contracts:
- Suitable for agreements like MSA, NDA, Independent Contractor Agreement, DPA, and Services Agreement.
- It can be launched from the onboarding workflow.
- SOW (Statement of Work) Contracts
- Suitable for agreements where talent must complete certain milestones for payments to start being released.
After this stage, you'll see a left-side menu with the options we'll go through that configures the agreement: - Contract Wizard - Contract Workflw - Acceptance - Change Request - Automation - Settings
1.2 Contract Wizard
- Enter contract details and add custom fields by clicking Edit.
- Custom fields, for example: PO Number, Department, Finance Approver, Compliance questionnaire.
1.3 Contract Workflow
- Choose whether to use a contract workflow. This is located on the left-side menu below Contract Wizard.
- With Workflow: Customizable stages such as Contract Terms Review, Internal Review, Compliance Review.
- Without Workflow: Automatically advances to Contract Acceptance.
- With Workflow: Customizable stages such as Contract Terms Review, Internal Review, Compliance Review.
To create a Contract Worksuite use the Contact Workflows option on the most-lef side menu under the module "Contacts". Note this workflows are different than the ones under the "Workflows" module. Click here for the Support Article for Contracts workflow creation.
1.4 Contract Acceptance
In Contract Acceptance, you can outline the method for accepting the contract. One option involves signing a document, while another entails a straightforward acknowledgment and acceptance through a simple button click.

- Methods: Signed Agreement or Acknowledge and Accept.
- Signed Agreement:
- Choose from the dropdown menu; preview before sending.
- Allows buyers to review and make changes before signing.
- Acknowledge and Accept:
- Users accept contract terms by clicking "Accept".
- Specify the individuals required for acceptance.
1.5 Change Requests
- Configure who will accept changes and in what order.
- Manage updates to contract terms efficiently.
- Future feature: Use annex agreements to sign changes.
1.6 Automations
- Apply automation to the Contract Template.
- Example automation: Contract renewal, performance evaluation, offboarding, and compliance rules.
1.7 Template Settings
- Visible in the Contract Templates View.
- Fixed options for contract expiration notification buffers.
