Your Worksuite profile is your first impression with clients. Whether you're adding your latest skills, updating your rates, or changing how clients contact you, this guide walks you through managing your profile and account settings.
Viewing Your Profile
Your profile is the hub where clients learn about you, your experience, and your work. To see what clients see:
- Log in to your Worksuite account.
- Click Profile in the main navigation.
- You'll see your public-facing profile exactly as clients view it.
Notice the Profile Completion percentage at the top — this shows how much of your profile you've filled in, and it matters for visibility with clients.
Editing Your Profile Information
- From your profile, click the Edit Profile button (or go to Settings in your account menu).
- Make your changes in the fields provided.
- Click Save when you're done. Changes go live right away.
What You Can Update
- Name & Photo — Add a professional headshot; clients connect better with faces.
- About Me — Tell clients who you are and what you specialize in (2–3 sentences works well).
- Location — Clients often filter by timezone or geography.
- Rate — Set your hourly or daily rate (you can adjust this anytime).
- Skills — Add relevant skills; clients search for these when posting jobs.
- Phone Number — Optional, but helpful for clients who prefer quick calls.
- Website & Social Links — Link to your portfolio, LinkedIn, or other profiles.
Uploading a Profile Photo
- In your profile editor, find the Photo section.
- Click Upload Photo or drag and drop an image.
- Crop and position as needed, then confirm.
- Save your profile.
Tip: Use good lighting, a clean background, and a friendly expression. Square images (1:1 ratio) work best.
Understanding Profile Completion
Your Profile Completion percentage shows how many of your profile fields you've filled in. Complete profiles rank higher in client searches, build more trust, and attract more opportunities. Aim for at least 80% — focus on your photo, bio, key skills, and verified contact information.
Note: Your profile completion score updates in real time as you add information.Changing Your Email Address
- Go to Settings in your account menu.
- Find the Email Address section and click Change Email.
- Enter your new email address and click Send Verification Email.
- Check your new inbox for a verification link and click it to confirm the change.
Your email updates immediately after verification. All future communications will go to your new address.
If the Change Email option is grayed out or missing, your client may have configured restrictions on account changes. Contact support@worksuite.com and we'll help you make the change securely.Changing Your Password
- Go to Settings in your account menu.
- Click Security or Change Password.
- Enter your current password, then create and confirm your new one.
- Click Save.
Tip: If you forget your password, click Forgot Password on the login page to reset it via email.
Troubleshooting Profile Issues
My changes aren't saving
- Refresh the page and log back in, then try again.
- Clear your browser cache and cookies.
- Try a different browser to rule out browser-specific issues.
My photo won't upload
- File type: Use JPG, PNG, or GIF formats.
- File size: Keep images under 5 MB.
- Dimensions: Square images work best — try 400x400px or larger.
- Browser issue: Try a different browser or clear your cache.
I changed my email but didn't get the verification link
- Check your spam or promotions folder.
- Wait a few minutes — sometimes emails take a moment to arrive.
- Double-check that you typed the new email address correctly.
- If you still don't see it, request a new verification email from Settings.
